Amber Coppola, DC
Dr. Amber Coppola received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University College of Chiropractic in June of 2005. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Life University as well. In August 2006 she received her Diplomate in BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.). Dr. Coppolais National Board Certified and holds professional licenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA), International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the Morter Health System.
Dr. Coppola brings a unique skillset to Performance Spine and Sports Medicine by utilizing a number of specialized lower force chiropractic techniques as well as proficiency in Extremity Adjusting and additional expertise in Reiki. Her interests include Sports Chiropractic and Clinical Nutrition.
Outside of work, Dr. Coppola is a member of the Philadelphia Girls’ Rowing Club, CrossfitNovem and has her Open Water Scuba Certification. She enjoys staying active and spending time with her Pug, Gromit.
Susann Clothier, DC
Dr. Susann Clothier is a Chiropractor at Performance Spine & Sports Medicine. Her clinical interests include functional rehabilitation of the spine, pain management, family wellness, athletic performance enhancement, and nutritional supplementation.
Dr. Clothier received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY. She is a Reiki II Practitionerand is certified in Graston technique for soft tissue and muscle rehabilitation as well as the Webster Technique from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Sheis also proficient in CBP postural analysis and drop table technique.
Dr. Clothier is dedicated to ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care and stays current on the science of chiropractic care through continuing education classes and seminars on topics such as severe neck and low back conditions, pregnancy, pediatric care, and spinal decompression.
Dr. Kenneth Koris
Kenneth L. Koris, DC is a Senior Chiropractic Physician at Performance Spine and Sports Medicine in Lawrenceville, NJ. Dr. Koris, originally a NJ resident, relocated from Omaha, NE to join our practice. He is proud to have been actively involved with spinal rehabilitation, sports medicine and other health care related practices over the years and brings that expertise to the clinic.
Dr. Koris completed his undergraduate education at Stockton State College, Pomona, NJ, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO in 1987. He is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, State Board of Medical Examiners of New Jersey, Pennsylvania Chiropractic Board and State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Dr. Koris has worked as a licensed chiropractor for over 24 years. He served as an Independent Chiropractic Examiner and was a personal injury consultant for attorneys, insurance companies, health care organizations and other professionals. Dr. Koris has testimonial experience as an expert witness as well as deposition proficiency. In addition to his extensive education in the fields of orthopedic, radiographic, neurologic and overall diagnostic chiropractic treatment strategies he continues to remain up to date on the evolutions of the chiropractic medical field and treatment options.
Dr. Koris feels his greatest strength is his devotion to caring for the “whole” patient. He focuses on customized care for rehabilitation, develops a patient specific treatment plan and integrates nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling to promote healthy functioning for his patient population. He feels the most rewarding part of being a chiropractor is to be able to administer care to relieve pain and restore functionality. Seeing a patient regain activities of daily living and restoration of a pain free daily routine brings him tremendous satisfaction. Dr. Koris incorporates and emphasizes the importance of patient education for the reestablishment of normal function and the ability to regain and maintain normal healthy lifestyles. “The patient is the most important part of the team in promoting healthy living”.
Despite his busy chiropractic career, Dr. Koris makes time to be involved with community and professional organizations. He has been a “hockey dad” and has 15 years of experience with youth AA and AAA travel ice hockey. He has volunteered as a USA Hockey Certified Coach, Omaha Gladiator Youth Ice Hockey Travel Team Manager and Assistant Coach, and FYMCA Rink Expansion Committee Consultant. Dr. Koris has 3 three wonderful children in Nebraska and when not working, he likes to travel to see them, BBQ, play golf, ski, and go to the Jersey shore.”
